Kathryn Heim is a writer and speaker living outside Charlotte, North Carolina. She is a practicing Roman Catholic, a member of the Lay Dominican Order, a wife, mother, and homemaker.

After growing up non-religious, she converted to Catholicism in 2012 and later began her formation as a Lay Dominican in 2020. Around the time that she began her formation with the Dominican Order, she also met and married her husband and became a mother. She considers her twin vocations as a Lay Dominican and as a wife and mother to be her greatest gifts from God.

A few other things to know:
  • Kathryn has a great passion for books and literature and believes that reading good books can change the culture and build up community for the better. 

  • She is a student of the Theology of the Body Institute and enjoys studying the writings of St. Pope John Paul II and others on the topic of the body and how it relates to God and Truth, Beauty, and Goodness.

  • She loves being a wife and mother, and dabbles in homesteading, homeschooling, and various other activities of a homemaking variety. Home is her favorite place to be her and her family are her favorite people to be with.
